Looks to be a much easier conversion that the Zizzle spinning toy.

Yes -- I converted the spinning one and it was a bear to do. Disney STore compass toy is already the exact size you need and making it costume ready can take 15 minutes or a couple hours depending on how much you want to do to it.

Wish this toy had come out first -- would have saved me a LOT of headaches and sore fingers from all the dremeling/filing/etc I did on the zizzle version.

Well , I also listed it in prop section -- but as there used to be several people who checked this forum for Jack Sparrow costumes, I thought it was appropriate to post here as well, as this is an essential part of the costume.

However, if mods feel it's out of line here, by all means delete it -- I wouldn't want to do anything that caused any harm.

I know that you said the zizzle compass mod was super hard, but I was wondering how exactly you would go about doing the mod? I have a zizzle compass and I would really prefer just to mod this one instead of buying another compass.
