well if anyone payed any attention to the movie
there is a guy chasing someone with the cane in Tortuga
Jack snags it as they pass
then he probably only has it for 30 seconds to a minuet before he gets tired of it and passes it to someone else just before entering the pub

Factual indeed. I found a cane that is close, but I was wondering...since this is therpf, that someone might be aware. If not, no worries.
