Jack Flack beret pin (Cloak and Dagger 80s movie)

Friend brought up the 80s kid spy movie, "Cloak and Dagger" so now, of course, I'm driven to make the imaginary spy friend character's costume.

Conveniently, I already have Dabney Coleman's receding hairline and majestic mustache. The leather jacket will be a PITA, but I'm mostly intrigued by the beret pin. Before I go about sculpting/casting one--anyone recognize it as an OTS piece? Some obscure pin only issued to Czechoslovakian cavalry tuba musicians for gallantry during a 3-month period in 1968, perhaps? (Costume designers always find one of those for $0.38 at a Goodwill during pre-production, just to annoy RPFers...)

Any thoughts?
