...of problems with this guy. However, last year I ordered a bunch of Enterprise (NX01)costumes from him and he did come through. I ordered one extra in November. As you may guess, it hasn't shown up and I get no answers to my email. Does anyone have a contact phone or address for this guy?
    Thanks,

He's posting as Star Trek Excalibur on Proptopia.

Interesting comment in one of his threads:
Funny because HE makes the Patches himself..

I just read over on ASAP that he sold for PROFIT a Captains Chair that some if not most parts had been donated to.

TOS Phaser who did the Arms was not pleased to say the least.

That Scumbag Joe had enough Nerve to ask TOS Phaser if he would do some more parts for him.

He is a real piece of work. :rolleyes

    Joseph is bad news.........
Heres all the dirt I have on him. Its all active though the problem is that he CHOSES not to get back to you
    Email=Joseph@costumecostumecostume.com
    Phone number=(702) 443-1701
I had to wait over a year for 2 Greatest American suits which wasnt what I really wanted. He cried and complained that my project broke his sewing machine so he couldnt make it. It was a Boushh costume. The GAH suits (both of them) were examples of bad sewing with alot of broken seams and missed stitching. This guy is a loser...

By "insignia for the Trek movies" he means the metal pins. Kerezman (aka Captain America, aka Captain Nelson) may make the TOS patches, but who is it that makes the pins?

BTW I ordered a WOK-style chest badge, captain's bars, and buckle from Kerezman about ten months ago. I finally just now got them.

Those of you who recall your Trek trivia may remember that the average Betaziod pregnancy is 10 months.
Translation: 10 months is a hellaciously long time to wait for an order.

Kerezman's response was essentially, "the guy only makes these in his spare time from his professional work, and I told you it might take awhile".

Did he mention the guy made them in his spare time before you made the order?

I live here in Vegas where he's working on his project. He's always coping out and whining about having no money. When ones demand to know where there stuff is he crys, "Well feeding my children is my top concern." Then he brags about having a DVR to record his missed TV shows with. On top of that he's posting pics of the sets he's building for his fan film. All on money collected from people on items he barely delivers. Scum......

Over on ASAP you have a bunch of fools who think he is Treks Godsend and defend him all the time. :lol

In fact the 1701 was going to have him be their official supplier.
    :lol

Good thing a Coup was pulled as those people would have ended naked as the day they were born . :lol

He's also been making BSG patches.

I usually try to warn as many as I can about him but they still buy from him.

You guys KNOW what I think... :lol
He should have no problem feeding his kids.....he gets his money up front..
I think he needs to come up with some proof................Proof that money made from the chairs sold with donated Items on them was ALL Put back into the film. :lol.............yeah right.. he would say he has kids to feed and doesn't have time to come up with the proof.................proof? what proof?? I don't need no stink'n proof.. :angel
As for anyone awaiting product from him................I wish you luck.

    Um,......just to clarify,....

Joseph has never sold anything on my board.

He, (and two or three others), drop in over there once in a blue moon solely to drum up business,...usually to the deafening response of crickets as their reputations have preceeded them long before they show up.

As far as I know,.....nobody has bought from him and all those who don't know any better and who have shown interest have all been briefed via PM by the mods.

I considered a pre-ban but it kinda flies in the face of the way I like to treat people.

Banning someone for past sins when I believe they may be trying to make amends isn't something I'm in favor of and because his presence has had zero negative effect on the informed populace of my board, I simply wait and see.

Personally, I have no reason to believe that this leopard has changed his spots and if someone on my board is given all the facts and STILL decides to buy from him then be it on their heads if the outcome is less than successful.

Short version, if the same old Joe puts on the same old show on the board, he's gone. Until then, the community continues to give him a very shaky benefit of the doubt for the two times a year he shows up there.

The odd thing is,......for as many detractors that he has, there's always somebody who stands up and say, "I've had nothing but perfect dealings with Joe.'

    The enigma continues. :rolleyes

I hate to say it as well, because I know about all the troubles others have had.

Everything I have sent money for I have gotten in a timely manner.

There are few things I have asked about and never gotten a response, which I consider a bad sign.

Surprisingly, (or maybe not so surprisingly) I got a response from the forum suppplied to me in the start of this thread. I also got a $50 credit on my credit card...that means only about $100 to go for the full refund.

I wanted to go to work on last Halloween wearing a Captain Kirk shirt and having a box of doughnuts under one arm. I could not find one...the shirt that is. Doughnuts were no problem. :p

Pish tosh. Everyone knows that following the Great Doughnut Wars of the early 22nd Century, only Krispy Kreme reigned supreme. B)

At least until the terrible Bagel Rebellion of 2145.

Go over to ASAP in the dealer review section.

There was a lot more people that he fleeced over there but the hack wiped out a lot of them.

Thanks for the update, he already conned one of our own RPF members out of Trek Captain Chair parts that were not supposed to be sold, but Joe sold them anyway.

I knew Joe back in the 80s and saddly he was not getting things out any better then either, got a Trek2 jacket that was a mess and had him redo, took years to get...

I do understand costumes are very hard to make, but if you can not do it, then don't.

He has really dug a hole all the way to hell.
