I did research for 4 months, and started it in February. Here is my WIP pics from the 501st site, hope you enjoy...

The armour is MonCal's over at the 501st.

Screen accurate chest Greeblies. MonCal put them in resin so pieces couldn't fall off.

Yay for jumpsuits!

Looks awesome!

Was looking through one of my making of ESB books last night and it seemed Dengar has two rivets on the top front of the thighs that are attached to a strapping system?

I thought that, but didn't want to say anything !!
Amazing piece though, its going to be brilliant.
Very jealous of your weaponry too.
Dengar was also my last ever Star Wars figure buy....;-(

Nice work on a seldom seen character. :thumbsup Also revelatory to see yet another prop/costume on which the photomultiplier dynode appears.

love the Dengar...where did you get the chest piece ?

I could be mistaken but the chest piece looks a lot like the ATAT/ATST driver breast plate with some added greeblies on the front. The rest of the armor looks like modified Stormtrooper armor to me although for this costume I'd imagine that everything was probably made from scratch.

that is true I'm also missing the buckle greeblie and the six straps on the calves, I'll be doing those this week!

what about the lower greeblies in the lower center of this image ? right above the cod piece.

Love the costume. Dengar never got the love that he needed after the movies. Love to have a chest piece just for kicks

edit ,,I guess it's covered in other images with the belt. hummm , can't wait to see it assembled

Hehe.. "Payback". I just read Dengar's story in "Tales of the Bounty Hunters". :)

I really like it. First time i have notice that Dengar has slippers on his feet :)
I believe that they are the same type of "minnetonka mukluk" boots that the Rebels are wearing outdoors on Hoth. I wouldn't be surprised if the original jumpsuit and gloves also are identical to what they were wearing.
It looks like a X-wing/TIE fighter pilot's comm pad on the lower part of the chest armor also.
