Maybe this is silly but I have two observations from the new movie for discussion.
Toward the end... when Spock and Kirk are standing on the bridge of the "jellyfish"... if you look to the left side of the cockpit it looks like there is a very colorful panel that seems out of place with the rest of the ship... I'm thinking this might be an actual TOS series panel.
Also...
In the Kelvin shuttle... in the very beginning of the movie... just to the right of the main control panel... it looks like there are a few banks of K.I.T.T. vox displays... they are moving slow but I could swear that's what they are!
