is this the acme ra piece?

I came across this auction today. end s in 6 hours. quite tempted by the price.

and looking at the description and the piece itself, it seems to me that its the ra piece available direct from acme artifacts (link below) I quite fancy it because if it is the acme, that's not a bad price for it, plus I won't have to wait two weeks to get it.

Hey Lancer, what I suggest is that you ask one of the MOD's for help when you have a question about live auctions. Often times they can help you talk to just the right person to get your info. Since you have only ever made 6 posts, you probably didn't know the rules. Also, just a friendly suggestion, be sure you read the FAQ sections so you don't get booted off!

Also, if you use the "Search" and search for key words, you can find so many great threads that oftentimes answer the question you have - and give you TONS of information that is useful.

Just thought I would offer you some suggestions. If ALL else fails, ask a MOD first. Usually the mods are fast with their answers too! Thats what they are there for!

sorry, wasnt trying to be rude, just trying to point out WHY posting the auction isnt such a good idea, being one of the "less financially well off":cry members myself, i would hate to have it happen to me, and just meant it as a word of warning.

In answer to your question it is an AcmeArtifacts, not an AcmeMagico, which I haven't seen in years. AcmeMagico headpieces were the best you could get but the AcmeArtifacts would be a second choice for me. Right now it is probably your best choice.

Here is my AcmeMagico. Just look at the detail in the feathers. 24 kt. gold plating with a real swarovski crystal, no mirror-backs. None have captured this detail since he stopped making them, although many are close. Actually, even the AcmeMagico had some shortcomings, as do all the repro headpieces. You just have to pick what you like best.
