Wondered if anyone can identify this specific type of metallic pouch - real life source, not the film production. (From the 90s perhaps):
Is this a found object fire proof bag of some sort?

Like 13doctor said , its an electrostatic bag for holding static sensitive components.

It def seems like that sort of thing, or fire proof something, But I can't find one that resembles this material.
Almost has a fire proof aluminium-wrapped foam texture.

No its just ESD all crinkled up . TBH it looks like someone rolled it up like a joint giving it those sideways patterns.

There is some new gaffer's tape that is foil covered that looks similar. People have made wallets and other items with it.
