Question Is the Views counter working differently? (answered)

Sometimes it doesn't even seem like it is working. Last couple of weeks, I often see new threads with no replies and only 1 view when it's been posted for more than 20 or 30 minutes already. I read it and when I go again to the index I see it still says only 1 view. I do a refresh, but there is no change. And also, older threads will have XX views and the number doesn't seem to change for an inordinate amount of time.

Hmmm... we can look at it, but they aren't off to my knowledge. Sometimes the numbers aren't instant.

It's fluctuating at around 1600 now, but just wow. If it's correct, what generated that amount of traffic all of a sudden ? Just curious.

Oh, okay, I thought they were always instant......
Guess it's just me, an illusion of the numerically obsessed!?!?
