Hi guys

I have a set of chrome pinball legs Im wanting to get brass plated - I also have a set of untreated metal pinball legs

The untreated need finishing.

Question is should I get the unfinished ones finished and plate those or can I just plate ontop of the chrome set for a great finish.

??? :thumbsup

Mmm... I'd "think" you could... it's all about electrical conductivity in the end... Chrome plating frequently has a cheaper metal already plated underneath- it probably already has brass or copper under it already. Could you maybe sand one to find out?

If you take it in to a shop,I don't think it will matter. They will strip the chrome off anyway and then re-plate it with the brass. You might just be better off getting the unplated ones done, either or...the results should be the same unless they tell you it can't be done?
