I just won a fleabay auction for a 2003 MR Vader ANH FX lightsaber on the cheap, and according to the auction description, it has some sound issues i.e. static instead of the ignition sound when turned on. The blade reportedly lights up properly, but I'm wondering if maybe just the speaker in the battery pack might be bad.
Also, since it is the fixed blade, I'll likely consider losing the string LED setup and converting it to possibly a tri-cree and removable blade, provided I don't need to sell any major organs to afford it or pray the missus doesn't kill me once it shows up at the front door
Just wondering what resources are still available for 15 year old replica.
