Very clever! I have a suggestion though. Remove the 'clunk' sound from the sound file leaving just the hydraulic whirr. The clunk sound is obviously meant to represent the foot hitting the floor, and if you do not walk in time with this, it will seem very fake. It would be better to (for example) glue a plate of metal or hard plastic, or something like that to the sole of the boot, to replicate the clunk noise in real time. If you havent already, I would also make the switch activate when it is released (push to break) as opposed to making the noise when it first is pushed onto the ground. Otherwise when you stop walking, you will get an extra whirr when youre not going anywhere!
