Ironman recast please avoid this seller

Course, being a bit vindictive myself, i would *actually* send a bunch of guys to the seller's place - you know, to escort the heavy mob and make sure they dont get lost

The terminator endo bust is defin a recast.

The mark II bust looks like a horrid recast.

Bad all round.

I doubt that will happen, looks like his whole site if full of recast stuff he'd loose access to all his masters if he got the boot. :unsure

Thanks a lot for the heads up on this, I was looking at these myself recently.
Could have made a costly mistake there, you know that they say if it's cheap there's a reason why, guess I now know why. I actually like a lot of his stuff, guess close scrutiny is always required! Thanks again

A definate failing on my part

well now you have all ripped me to peices for this,maybe i can have my say.
i bought this copy of the iron man bust from a thai sculptor called sky,i was told it wasnt a recast from the sideshow peice as it was bigger,the sideshow bust isnt 1/1 scale.if it is a re-cast from the sideshow peice,which i am going to look in to,then i will not be selling any more. i am not a re-caster,i sell a few,non copyright casts and stuff but thats it. i am a miniature and prop painter as you will see from my site.i have never took a mould of something that is protected by law.some of you guys on here make me sick,you talk about people like they are **** without even knowing the truth.The ***** that started this post [...] left of alot of the messages he sent me admitting to being a re-caster

Why not go create something of your own, rather than try to defend your recast wares?
Going by your post in the other thread, your well up for ripping of the talented hardworking folks who seem to now provide you with a wage.
Kinda pity you really, and im sure you wont be here very long with your outlook to the hobby.

Thanks for posting this, I know exactly who this guy is, a while ago he posted on a friends Facebook Page Photos of his work and later was selling Iron Man Helmets (Just the Helmet, no Neck) and I figured like many custom Iron Man Helmets on the RPF, I thought he was Legit, well money has been tight so I didn't buy it, and now I'm glad I did not!

I can't stand Recasters!!!

They are as bad as Artists taking credit for other people's hard work!

thereare loads of Iron Man, Terminator and Predator Pieces, this isn't just a one off.
ive found out he has a facebook page where he openly sell's and is a Hunter's Lair member.

Although i'm not entirely happy with hosting his website details, Art has said that in this instance it is ok.

Please i ask don't by from this guy, if one item is a recast and not a very good one to be honest then you can bet everything else is

Michael if your still reading .....a 40k Horus kit for sale in your miniature section! Are you seriously casting these :wacko!!!? Selling these openly on your website is asking for trouble - Games Workshop have been taking legal action against sellers of this stuff on Ebay etc. their legal team is really hot on IP theft...believe me I know.....................
