Ironman MK II Suit from London Expo

Hello, i was encouraged to post this to this section since some dont read the costume section to much. I noticed this my self just now, so i went on the other pages... So much great stuff from talented artists on this board.

Anyway here goes:

We build an Ironman MK II Armor for the London Anime, Comic and Media Expo that was in London on the 29-30th of May 2010. It was allot of work in very short time. Allot of holes to mark, drill and a paint that was a nightmare to work with. However we managed to pull it together.

Before we go to the photos please exuse me for the foot and the upper legs.. When we arrived we discoverd we had forgotten the boot covers so we had to take the upper leg plate armors and replace them to the foot. :lol But it worked out. I also had orderd a silver suit but it did not arrive in time sadly. The black suit really section the suit up and i did a photoshop by replaceing the black with silver it would look allot more streamlined. If anyone with good skills could do that then i loved to se it.

Visability is VERY good. The glass is a clear glass but only the top half is covered by a strip of light. You se out bellow.

Very good! am I wrong or is that actual steel plate? if so double thumbs up!

I wish someone would build a first gen 60's Iron Man out of plate steel and chain mail-it'd work I tell you!

Thank you all for your kinds words. It was a nice project ot do but allot of sweet, frustration and almost tears during the build.. Never ever again a MK2 project like this... Far to much work.
