So it's been a long time coming, close to a year anyway, since I had gotten items from all over the globe. I got my raw suite built by QUOVADIS0920, who has been a major helper throughout my build process, so i wanted to give a big thanks to him. He's a great guy and has rocked this whole thing like the pro that he is. Anyone questioning sending big cash to anither country can definitely rely on him :thumbsup.
I got my Arc reactor and eye lights from another gentlemen by the name PROJECTEARTH7 who made good on a wrie shortage issue I was having, and allowed me to have the best magnetic connected lighting on my helmet as well as a pretty bad ***** arc system that worked for a shirt or my suit. I recommend his systems for sure.
For my 3D printed gauntlets I went to a gentlemen by the name MrTrouble, who used Shapeways and my size to get me my raw hands. So thank you sir for taking care of an issue I was spending months trying to find. You kicked butt!
for the hand lighting and audio effects in my gauntlets I went to DARKSIDE501st who was gracious enough to take care of me. and his system is pretty bada$$ I have to say. I know he has his hands full filling his orders but guys, hang in there, you will all have your socks knocked off. I dont know anything about electronics and mother boards and all that jazz, so its truly an art form that this guy was able to make all this possible. You my friend are the Matrix, haha....
I got my raw Helmet a while back from BIGGEEK1972, who's sizing fit my head perfectly in regards to proportion with my suit on, the only issue i had with it was, that it was soo snug i wasnt able to get any opening and closing kit to fit inside, so i Dremmel'd in a system of magnets that would hold the lid open strongly so i could keep it up and walk around, then when closing it the eyes would light up. I painted his helm and actually customed in a small forehead detail on both side of my temple, something I saw in the movie that I don;t think Biggeek had a reference for at the time of his creation process. Never the less, great helmet's from him, and i give him a big thanks.
My Forearms where done by Abb eliten, who is doing some incredible 3D work right now, I plan to go back to him to get his finger digits as they are more accurate for the Mark 42, and they look to be much for comfortable when closing the hands into fists etc... I strongly suggest getting your hands, or fingers from him, he's a solid guy to talk to, and he's very detail and quality orientated. a real artist with what he's trying to do. I look forward to whatever he brings to the table.
I think I got everyone that's helped me out here, if I forgot anyone, chime in, and i will add you in the credits for sure.... Now onto the fun stuff... being an artist myself, i figured my strong points would be the painting, i didnt think the suit would come down to the wire and i was literally painting my suit up to the thursday night before my Friday and sat NYCC ticket show off day.... So I'm hoping to be able to do more detail stuff before Halloween. Check the pics below..
Feel free to ask about paint brands etc. I personally found the best results where to PLASTI DIP the foam base, then do wood putty filling holes, then sanding then Re PLASTI DIP over that, to get my smooth base, to which I used RUSTOLEUM "Champaign" for the Gold paint, because it dried semi flexible as apposed to car paint that would dry hard and crack, for me anyway. For the RED and SILVER I used a brand called MONTANA GOLD ( thats the name, not the color) which is an acrylic based spray paint, that dried flexible, and allows alittle bit of bending in the foam, but to date no real cracking. alittle pressure cracking in the feet, but thats understandble considering its a high stress point. I actually have to go back into the feet and fix and strengthen some areas, as well as the knee area to make it more walkable. This NYCC was my test drive. As youll see in some pictures, I have to secure the shoulder bells to stay forward also. and possible elastic support of my Abs to not let the chest pop up and reveal the under areas... Some things I gotta work on. Ok enough talk, pic time.

Here's my raw helmet, lots of cleaning and sanding allowed for a great paint job.
