ironman chest scaling

i am making robo3687's Iron Man mark 4 chest but it came out to small, im just wondering were i should measure.from the top of my shoulder near my neck to the higher part of my last rib is 16 inches.. around 406mm am i measuring in the right area of my chest?
also, is there a page somewere that i could reference to show me were to measure on the other iron man armor parts?
