I hope mine will look as good as yours! I've been super busy at work the past 3 weeks but I've had some days off and made some progress on my costume. I'll post progress soon.
BTW what did you use for the boots?

I'm sure yours will turn out great! This being my first attempt at anything with scales, I sure learned a lot and would probably do much better if I tried again! Looking forward to your progress!

For the boots they were just a pair of costume boots (something like this) that I cut the top off, and sewed a cuff together.

Suit Looks great nice job on the helmet too, sits really nice on your head..gotta love rubber helmets for this look

It was a fun weekend of costuming, JuJuBean and I attended the Avengers Age of Ultron opening night and Free Comic Book Day at our local comic shop as Captain America and Black Widow.

Overall I'm thrilled with the suit, the scale mail held up surprisingly well and I'm very happy with the mask/helmet. Here's a few shots from FCBD:
