Iron White Ranger (WIP-Concept)

I'm sketching at work
Trying to come up with some costume ideas for Toronto FanExpo 2013

I was thinking of doing Iron Man (original I know!)
But there are soooo many Iron Man suits, so much better then I could ever do, So I started thinking mash up

Behold Iron White Ranger (WIP CONCEPT)

Just the shield right now to see what would be black and what would be gold
The shoulders would be gold and the abs would be the start of the white

I might draw out the boots and the gauntlets to see the how the color would fit there too

unfortunately I don't have Photoshop at work, so I will have to wait to do a full concept with color

Love the white ranger and this would be sick!!! I've wanted a white ranger movie suit since I was in fourth grade!! Wanna see this done!!

Really cool design.
I have an idea. Instead of doing a full armor. Keep the Sentai tradition and do an armor / spandex mix. Use the torso/ shoulders. Gauntlets, cod and shins. Paint those in the white ranger scheme. You be surprised how incredible that looked than just a full armor.

I like the idea of the mix and will definitely work on some concepts with the mix of armor and spandex

I was leaning towards the full armor because im not exactly in "spandex shape" yet lol

I love power rangers , man. I saw this and thought it was a really cool idea.

Full armor will be awesome none the less.

I think I'm gonna photoshop what I was saying, when i get home from work. Just for fun.
I'll post it here.

I'm so glad more local people are building costumes. Can't wait until fan expo next year!

I swear we're on the same page here, Stealth. Partial armor/spandex was the first thing that came to my mind.

Honestly, I think that full armor would look a little too much like an Ironman recolor, but that's just me.

I'm gonna go home after work and test something out with my actual mark 6 parts/ red ranger Costume parts. I'll post a pic or video here of an Iron Red Ranger. It will give you an idea how it would look in real life I guess.

If this works out. I will join your white ranger next year at the expo on one of the days.

I find this project very cool, different and fun.

I think I'm having trouble visualizing what would be taken out for spandex.

If you just did the iron boots up to the knees... iron gloves up to elbows... the revamped shield you have... then the rest being the white spandex... that'd be pretty cool

Ya, I've been staring at my sketches and pictures of the White Ranger and Iron man and it's starting to come together

ok , so here's my Red Power Ranger - Armored Mode.

I chose White Spandex as it was a nice contrast to the Red. Trust me, I tried red spandex. It looked so bad.

I like this a lot.
