Iron Man's Briefcase

Since I know people are in awe of the suit, I wasn't sure if anyone was going to attempt the briefcase itself. So just in case, I found a pretty good photo of it online:

Sweet! Thanks for the picture!

Does anyone know if the any of the toys came with the briefcase?

For weeks, Walmart has got the Iron Man 2 toys, and they have an Iron Man Action figure, briefcase suit, with the briefcase. Not much of detail, but it is something.

Is that a wallet chain attached to the briefcase, in that pic?

been waiting for someone to bring this up :d definitely on my to do list

i'd only be interested in one if it will turn into a wearable suit. Really though it does seem like a cool case that can be used for a lot of things. Anyone know the measurements of it?

I expect it to be fully custom build, tried to google for different concepts but nothing turned up, I kind conclude it must be a custom, especially since most will be CGI anyway ...

here my attempt using posterboard.

its not round like the prop is but roughly
similar size

accidently taped the small indent the wrong way

The suit is really supposed to fit in that thing? Wouldn't it be way too heavy to carry?

That is a suit, and with Tony Stark's billions, I am sure his R&D has come up with a light weight material for the Iron Man suitcase suit;) I think I just earned my share of geek points for the week with this post:lol

Yes sir you did. But honestly The suit looks to be just armor and repulsors, not much else. Bare bones so to speak.

I find it odd though that Tony would make an easily portable suit. I mean how did he know he would ever need it. The only big villain he's ever fought, Iron Monger, got destroyed and scrapped so why build a suit that's easily portable? This guy is the ultimate boy scout; always be prepared!

Probably because he can't wear the suit all the time unlike most superheros who can easily hide their costumes under their normal clothes.
