Iron Man Suit + Broken Foot = Unfinished Costume

Hey all,
I don't exactly know where to post this, or how to ask, but I've been working on Fetts Can build for about a month now, and recently broke my foot. I can't get back down in my basement to work on it for a while, and I was wondering if there are any Iron Man fans like me that would be willing to help me out. I was hoping someone may have some stuff they could donate? I can buy some things, but money is really tight, and thats why I was doing the budget build. I did post a few pics of my progress in the $25 trash can build thread, but now I'm stuck. Please feel free to PM me with any questions, I can also show pictures of what I was able to finish before this cast went on my foot. Thanks to all you master builders and prop makers out there.

What's the ETA on this? Is this for Halloween? It looks like from your posts you have the chest pretty much finished.

I'll go ahead and commit to the arms, back, hands, and the the shoulder bells. Pro bono publico. If no one chimes in and does the pelvis, legs,feet, I'll do that as well.

You'll still need to paint it but that shouldn't be an issue.

Yes it's not a super rush, I wanted to have it for halloween. You just let me know what you need from me. I can get you measurements for each part. You rock fetts.

Hey all. This is awesome... it's what we as a community is all about, helping each other out. I can attest that rchrz60 did in fact break his foot. How do I know this? He's my kid brother. I've told him about this board for years and he finally joined and is officially hooked on replica props. I think it's really cool that people have stepped to help a fellow member out in a time of need. Just really cool.

If you mean me, I've got nothin but patterns and trash cans and a pair of snips and rivetgun to add the two together
If you mean him then uh... no idea. I've seen a pic of at least one arm on the other thread.

I only have one arm kinda done, it was a work in progress while I tired to figure out how to attach the repulsor.

Hey guys, this could be my pain medication talking, but I just really wanted to say thank you to all of you that are willing to help me acheive a costume. I got really bummed when I broke my foot, cause I knew I wouldn't be able to finish, then you all swooped in and offered to hook me up. I have to say especially being a new member, this forum is the best, and you all strive to make it a great community for everyone. This site really is everything that my brother has been telling me about for years now.

It wont be any guarantee but as of right now im swamped with commission and more coming in. but id's say I'll make you a Chest RT for you Iron man suit if it hasn't been offered so far. Maybe a kit for the lighted eyes as well. this will be free of charge and shipping too. I'll let you know when time permit me to do so. get well soon bro.

I got the chest piece done using the toy arc reactor. But I didn't get around to molding the shoulders and what not. If you want to do that it would be great. I think I posted a pic of it on the can build thread. Eyes would be awesome too though. You guys are great. This is really lifing my spirits as I am stuck in the house and going crazy.

Yeah I'm keeping my spirits up. Thankfully my wife is really helpful, and my new son keeps me busy, otherwise I'd be going stir crazy. Thanks for the support.

Just checking in, wanted to see how everyone was doing? It's starting to get warmer out so it's making my leg in the cast very uncomfortable. Note to self...... invent a cast fan! Well I hope everyone is doing alright.
