Just an update for you guys watching this thread - once i can get either WINE working or a suitable version of windows working on my AMD system (seems windows wont play well with AMD) i'll be goin back and redoing some parts for next halloween and will have pics up - the paint will be silver all over, MK6 chest still and thinking a RED LED in the center as opposed to white with black accents around the Arc port and faceplate. this is still a ways away seeing as i have a commission job that has been slowed by a(nother) recent computer crash
i've read that - problem is i need to keep costs as low as i can without cheaping out too much and the Micro by Maestro can come in bulk shipments if i decide to cast my suit. also starting work on an ab next week sometime where the parts will be built as seperate peices and held together by elastic

anyy updates?
okiedokie all - its been some time scince an update, so here goes. i'll be posting more progress pics later on this month with the completed shoulder bellsupper arms as well as the progress on a duplicate suit im doing using card stock and see which holds up better then ship out the card stock one.
also found out that the arc chamber only needs one super bright led placed in the center of a primed and glossed surface, and works alot better with a silver backing.

Ok. so its been a while, a LONG while scince I've last updated with pics, so here they are. and in conjunction with another build im doing. the pics here are of 1) the Card Stock build im working on for some one else and 2) my own personal cardboard build that will feature the MK VI upper torso and various bits and parts of the MK II/III armor. Im am going to repaint my current chestplate to a silver or black color with a red or black faceplate to offset the colors of the rest of my suit. and maybe a few other mods to parts like the forearms and shoulder bells.
Update time: i have put my cardboard project on the back burner to better focus on the commission job im working on. so while i do that I have posted my pictures to my facebook account. To view them go here: Ryan's Iron Man Suit WIP | Facebook
well not much to report here, but i will have some pics up by sunday nite. i have completed pep arms and going to start working on the hands once i recoup from my nite last nite - i'll just say that going to a music festival takes alot out of a person when said individual hasnt been to a single show in 11 years -
