hey how do you cut the helm i 3 pieces, what cutting instruments do you use guys?

Here's where I am with the helmet at the moment. Only have time during the weekends so progress is slow.
The temples warped a bit during the resin process so I had to build them up using body filler. So far only used 60 grit sandpaper.

A dremel or rotary tool usually.

Just did the regular gimpee file. Mine, as well, came out about 10% small. But an awesome looking helmet. I'll have to try this one for my resize.

So I wanted to make the MK42 helmet and I found Gimpee's file. The model is perfect except for a couple of things that bothered me.

I changed the eyes to be more narrower, did some work on the lower jaw, added the groove between the eyes. Changed the position of the upper side teeth to be like the actual one.

What's your head size? I think my default is scaled up by 5% than gimpee's.

Right on. I'm positive 10% is all I need, so I'll just increase your file 5%. Thanks for the input. It'll be awhile, but I'll post a pic when I'm done......gotta take a crack at the Igor helm.

Stark05, it's the video game version of the mark 33 (silver centurion). Balmung modeled it off of the low res armors that he posted, and SOUTHPAW unfolded it.

I'm still in the bondo stage, I can only work on it a couple of hours during weekends.

So I primered it and cut out the back plate too see if it would fit. My ears are scraping the sides when putting it on but once inside it's pretty roomy. Still got lots more bondo work to do.
