Wow.... fantastic work mate! , can't wait to see more!!!
thanks,here's a few more
wow very nice weathering and molded pieces! , are you planning on selling some of your casts? your build is making me want to detour from foam and do a fiberglass build again haha
cheers jayjayn,to get it finished first is the plan:loland then possibly a couple of suits for sale?we'll see
Absolutely spot on! FANTASTIC!
Do you think someone with no experience in the paiting department could achieve a paint scheme like yours?
hiya deric, thanks mate,i wouldn't try with rattle cans due to the fact as the pressure drops the paint flow becomes a little inconsistent and can create patchiness.but with a spraygun and a lot of patience although tricky 'yes'.putting the silver base on from a gun aint an issue, when it comes to putting the candy on overlap evenly n keep a pen n paper handy to mark down the amount of coats applied to each piece to keep a consistent colour.
Nice work mate, I may just have to pop by and see this pint job and build. It looks stunning! what did you use to paint and apply the weathering if you don't mind me askin. Great work, I love it!
thanks steve, the weathering is black stove polish brushed into grooves with a fine brush, left over night then polished off leaving a metallic black finish.the worn areas are silver acrylic or silver rub n buff.the great thing about grate polish or rub n buff are if you over do it ,you can just wipe it off with a drop of panel wipe.
your more than welcome to pop by:thumbsupgive me a few weeks then there'll be more to look at.:lol lol
little update

ics as promised
did a waste mold of original chest wasn't happy with a few bits after the finished arms.it was too flat faced, arc recess area not right, etc.(me being to picky:lol)all critique welcome
pulled a urethane cast from the mold then done a bit of tweaking curves etc.need to get the primer flatted, then time to get the molds made for chest n back then cast
