Iron Man Mark III (WIP)

Originally I want to build a suit using EVA Foam. I found myself having hard time following paper formats on the internet.
So I decided to cut out StyroFoam via free hand with the help of some drawing cutout as a guide for proportionality

Now, I figured out what i can do : Mark 3 FiberGlass LifeSize display

StyroFoam cut out
(1) Ratio and Proportion
(2) Printout guide - at least 6'4"-6'5" dimension

That lower body is looking pretty spot on. Nice work

Next steps would be plasters and a lot of sanding. Time+Budget

Recent Updates on my Iron Man Mark III Build : WIP

For Plasters and fillers experience:
1. It is very tedious work and there are a lot of materials need to consider (Acrylic, additional sanding, Thin&Think coats)
2. Temporary hot glue not really good with hot temperature - I decide to use BBQ sticks to align and connect parts.

Materials : Paint/Glue/Tape/bbqSticks/Sandpapers/cartonboxes

This is gorgeous! you plan to keep the metallic mk 2 look or paint it up as mk 3 still? its amazing that this is a styrofoam build

That's incredible! People do such amazing things with Styrofoam. I'm learning EVA foam at the moment. Great work.
