Here's my finished MK42 suit
my first freehand iron-man suit [because regular pepakura based iron-man suit is too mainstream nowadays]

short overview of the creation of my costume:
- What inspired you.
Other freehand foam builds out there
here in our country majority of the costumes are built freehanded, just like Baden33's mark 7 and mark 5, and TG's own mark 42 build.
- How long it took.
1 month planning (gathering reference pictures, mixing ideas out there and fund raising *lol), 2 weeks built (i started on making the chest, and I end up with the helmet) and 1 week painting (layer painting the suit is so much pain in the u-know-what-i-mean)
- Specific details for which you are most proud.
the whole suit, i spent too much time on cutting smaller details then glue them again to make a 95% accurate look, well i admit this is not as good as other builds out there, but i think i pulled it out nicely.
- Tips.
If you're low on budget and you can't buy PLASTIDIP and you don't want to use PVA glue on sealing. Use ACRYLIC EMULSION on sealing the foam, you can google it if you don't know what's that stuff.
