IRON MAN Mark 4 and 6 Build - Video Update Page 6

Re: STEALTH's Iron Man Mark IV/VI Build

Great work man. I'm assuming those will be fairly easy to swap out? I've bee. Wondering why someone hasn't done that

Re: STEALTH's Iron Man Mark IV/VI Build

Thanks guys. I never liked the Mark IV...like ever.

After looking and all my reference and other people mark 4's, I've come around.
The mark 4 paint job itself makes it look more sleek. I think I'll go this route for myself as well.

I will complete the mark 6 chest but when the suit is done.
It will be easy to swap out chest plates later on.

I actually don't mind to wear the mark 6 chest plate on the mark 4 paintjob. I always liked how some of the early concepts for Iron Man 2 looked.

Re: STEALTH's Iron Man Mark IV/VI Build

Glad you have came around to the mark IV man!!!! I like it more than any other suit, with the VII coming in a close second.... The IV to me is sleek and just looks amazing... The VII is a beefier more "badarse" look....

On a side note.. I want that mark IV hot toys figure so bad.. but I can't bring myself to pay the prices that people are wanting for it :-/

Re: STEALTH's Iron Man Mark IV/VI Build

Hi Stealth. I already did an iron man suit of foam following your tutorials. Thanks bro!... now, i have a couple of questions about this amazing job on cardboard:

1. Are you using the same pep files than foam armor? what scale? is there a link to get that files?
2. Are you using flaps for gluing or just doing it with the foam technique?
3. What kind of cardboard are you using?

thanks again and keep going with your job!

1. Are you using the same pep files than foam armor?
-You can use the ones you already have. They're the same.

What scale?
-I scaled it to my body. All different scales.

Is there a link to get that files?
*Refer to answer 1*

2. Are you using flaps for gluing or just doing it with the foam technique?
-same as foam

3. What kind of cardboard are you using?
-Whatever is around the house.

thanks Stealth... i'm started an iron man mark VII suit right now and I'm using the cardboard of the pack of twelve milks. I finished the codpiece and i have to say that is funny work with this material. Sorry , my english is poor ( I'm from Argentina..) IMG_20140116_014736.jpg

Re: STEALTH's Iron Man Mark IV/VI Build

You have successfully got me to entertain the idea of using cardboard. Have a phuq ton left over from Xmas. My MKVII might turn out to be made up of all building techniques. Awesome work, as always.

Re: STEALTH's Iron Man Mark IV/VI Build

Hey stealth you are a prop legend!!! Awesome work....sorry if these have been answered before (Q.nr 2 has sort of above been said but I don't understand...)
3 questions....
1. Why not use your old foam mark 6?
2. Are you using foam templates on the cardboard?
3. Why did u delete some of your videos/tutorials on YouTube ? Like the iron man light up eyes?
