Iron man mark 3 from Ebay

I just got a iron man mack 3 helmet in the mail today I waited 2 weeks to arrive and what turned up in the mail the is not what was listed as you will see in the pics. the sellers name is INSANE COLLECTIBLES from Ebayand the pics looked good in the ad below he used to describe his product

This is a prop replica kits cast in resin, one-of-a-kind fan made by expert prop maker, not mass produced. Casting is clean and smooth, lightweight and durable. Kit can be finished by buyer. Comes exactly as shown in the photo.

It goes to show that you cannot trust what you see and your better off making it yourself

Are these the pics of what you got, or the pics the seller put up? These look like pictures of a rough casting, ready for cleanup around the edges.

Are these the pics of what you got, or the pics the seller put up? These look like pictures of a rough casting, ready for cleanup around the edges.

The pics you see are from me what I did not descibe properly is that the helmet is from plastic not resin or rotacasted the face is out of shape and if I try to put it on helmet it will start to break from how thin it is in general I HAVE A DUD HELMET FROM A DUD MOULD and it's buyer beware

not to be an ass, but you can clearly see in his pictures on ebay that it isnt clean...it isnt as crummy as the one you received...but you can see chips etc etc

what's even more funny is I have tried to work on the face and the plastic has broke across the eyes this should serve why you should not work on a plastic unless it's thick plastic

email the seller for refund...he refuses then paypal dispute is your best bet

he lied about one of a kind and it being clean

if you don't think this was good there has been a few different sellers over the last 2 months some have been good and there was one I have images of that it was badly damaged and held together by tape and that was sold like that on Ebay

With so many RPFers offering quality Iron Man helmets, why even go to ebay and take a chance? $100.00 seems like a steal, but, now, you are stuck with a crappy and cracked slush job. Don't feel so bad. Most of us have made the same mistake., way before Paypal offered buyer protection programs :lol

I agree with the above, file an Paypal complaint.

To think I was eye-balling his Mark I helmet, until I made a search, here, and found out more about the seller. No way my money is going to him.

Hit him with a paypal complaint. I just had to start one myself. The guy will have a week to respond before you can escalate it.

the reason why I bought off Ebay is I was buying it for a present and now I feel like throwing it in the bin. The seller has not responded to my calm Email I sent him when it arrived and no reply at all from him and that means getting money from him would take as long for a money tree to grow.

Has anyone scratch built the face for mack 2-3 helmet before

The pictures on eBay look off too - why does the faceplate look about 15% too large for the helm?

the pics used in his ad might be the first casting from the moulds as I have found is the face is to small for the helmet and wont fit properly so I will have to remake the face from plastic sheeting I'm sure it will be the easy to do it since the rest of it is plastic

thanks for the thought I am going to assume with the bulk of his casts would be sideshow casts going by what is for sale
