hi all. I've been lurking on here for a while reading threads and doing research etc. I'm looking to create my own Iron Man replica helmet.
I've downloaded the pepakura files kindly posted by Finhead (thanks!) and I have pepakura on my computer.
I'm not going to rush anything but I've got a couple of initial questions regarding the pepakura build process. Pepakura is not something I've done before.
1. In terms of putting the model together presumably it's just a case of cutting out all of the pieces and glueing the flaps together? How do you know which bit glues to what - are the flaps numbered?
2. On Finhead's Pepakura file for the helmet there are 17 sections - this might be a dumb question but I take it there's 1 section per sheet of A4 cardstock so 17 sheets in total to print?
3. My head is quite big - 24 inches around. What's the best way to find out if Finhead's pepakura file is the right size? Is there a way to scale?
thanks very much in advance!
