hello everyone. I am making an Iron man helmet. I used paperboard then I did resin it. then I did use repair filler. (couldnt find car body filler) Today I started to sanding after a couple of hours I can still see those spaces on helmet. I have no idea how can I make it smooth. like an A4 paper.

Mix up some more filler and scrape it into the gaps. Then more sanding.

Repeat until your arms fall off.

Quick question, after resin did you use fiberglass on the inside to give it more strength?

    Edit:
There are loads of informative threads here on the forum, but maybe you could give this one a quick read. Its a Dredd Helm build with loads of good pictures.

My first project, I made the mistake of putting the bondo on too thick. Which in turn meant a lot of sanding.

I did buy myself one of those 'mouse' handheld sanders, much easier than sanding by hand.
