Iron Man Helmet Project - NEW PICS

Hello RPF friends.. thought I would post some finished pics of Sharkheads super killer HD Iron Man helmet.. since the 405th is down I thought I'd share here as I know some of you are members there as well.

Next step is resining, glassing and then fixing up any lost details in the process.

I plan on casting a couple in resin.

There were so many details in this piece including the cheek grooves which I will try and get better pics of later. But they are there. Just gotta look close.

Thanks Nobody. Ironmang.. I honestly don't know. Did I'd say 3 sessions of about 4 hours or more. It wasn't a quick thing. But I work 9-5 through the week and have lots to do on the weekend. So I have little time. But 3 weeks I'd say.

sweet, i'm thinking about putting this one together in a couple of days. did you use the default scale? hows the fit?

Wow! Just Wow!

I've been working on the same one for a couple of weeks (off an on, work keeps me busy), and I think you've just given me new incentive to finish. I can only hope to come even close to that quality when I'm done though.

Ironmang... yep scale is the same as file provided. I have a rather large melon about 24" plus and it fits a bit snug. But it fits.

Driftwood I'd love to see some pics when you complete too. It wasn't an easy build. That is forsure.

Assuming it doesn't come out looking more like Stewie Griffin's head than an IM helmet, I'll be sure to post some pics. :confused

It was the most complex version. The one before he removed the extra details. Can't remember the name.. I don't have my computer here at work.

This one's Sharkhead's "Sharkmark VI" version. Can't for the life of me remember where I got it from, though most likely the 405th.
