iron man costume question

Hi Im trying to create a pepakura Iron Man costume and I have a few questions about the materials.

I was planning on using foam to build the costume and after reading a bit I found out resin doesnt work so well on foam is that true? Also does it shrink the foam? I was wondering what materials is better to make it out of? Cardboard or foam? I plan on using fiber glass and bondo as well. Looking to make a sturdy and strong costume that will last me.

Sounds like your wanting to go either the cardstock or cardboard route followed up by fiberglass and bondo. Stealth has a great thread going right now on a cardboard iron patriot build w/ tutorials. He also has a variety of other tutorials on YouTube. That would be a great place for you to start. Hope that helps.
