Iron Man 3

Standard terrorist weapon?

True, but an AK against Iron Man? Also, appears that he is holding a pair of Aviator sun glasses. Maybe he was in disguise just prior to putting his robe on? He could pull off a Vet look without the robe on. I'd like to know what he has tucked into his sash as well.

Regarding the Mandarin's rings from EW:

Quote:
The Mandarin's backstory here will differ from the comics, where he is a Chinese exile who discovers 10 rings inside a crashed alien ship, each of which gives him a different power. The rings are still the source of his strength, but the alien subplot has been dropped. "Tony is earthbound and facing earthbound villains," Feige says. So they're just bling? "Not necessarily," he replies coyly.

Did anybody notice that the destroyed helmet is not the same helmet from the new IM suit? Maybe it's Stark picking up the ruins after his suits self-destruct...

With manicured nails like that, I'm hoping that's Pepper...besides, isn't there a publicity still of her taken from the front in that scene?

Yes it looks like the aftermath of those "news" helicopters that fired rockets at Tony's casa

I guess we will find out. If he is being operated on in China acupuncture absolutely makes sense to me. Btw, if you have never had it done, it worked wonder on my knee (I've had multiple surgeries).

I am still hoping that he is going under for some type of Extremis armor.

Assuming that they're not straying from the comics too terribly in this particular scene, Tony should probably be completely beat to crap; bleeding, broken bones, etc. That scene in the comic he was basically about to die. Which is what makes me think he's getting the arc and/or the shrapnel removed instead.

Wishful thinking on my part. It has been awhile since I watched then online Extremis comic, which is AWESOME.

Still, I'll keep hoping.

I'm sure that, at best, we'll get a snarky dismissive response. Assuming he responds at all. He seems like the type to not admit he was wrong.

Actually I'm not afraid to admit that I was wrong. This is the INTERNET and I don't make a big deal about it because I'm not insecure like... well :rolleyes. However, there's still no hard proof that you're right besides that Facebook posts (and I know all most of you will say otherwise).

Well, that should be an Iron Man Mark IV-VI helmet, as the golden lower lip stands on top of the rest of the chin and also, the central spike matches perfectly with the faceplate height wise (from what I saw on the movie file printed helmet on here, the mark III has a gap height wise between the spike and the faceplate).

Then, i might be mistaking and if I am please be gentle :lol
