Iorveth bow build

I'm building a replica (or replica based :wacko ) of Iorveth bow from Witcher 2. I want it to be functional. My question to my bow experts is: How to to string a double recurve bow?

this is looking spectacular!!! I am quite the bow hunter and fan of gorgeous looking bows as such :lol
as far as your stringing question goes, I would suggest cutting a slot in the rear arms for the string and then somehow knot it either side of those arms. if the string is able to slip in those rear arms you may get a weird lock up. But you'll also want the string to be able to move vertically within the slot ever so slightly.

Update: making this bow a functional one was challenging , ended up using fiberglass to reinforce it . Will post pictures soon.
