I've been trying to figure out how I'm going to make this coat from season 2 of into the badlands, what a good fabric would be but, specifically all those ridges. At first I thought it was piping or something but it doesn't look quite right. If anyone knows how to achieve that effect or what the sewing technique is called or any advice at all. I would be called I'd appreciate it. I already tried searching here and other places with no real leads.
