I guees the lack of replies, suggests that the interest in these, are very limited.
Not necessarily, it really can come down to context, and targeting the right client.
If you ask me, a guy setting at home, on his computer "Hey do you want to buy tons of these really cool looking plastic, or paper bags?" I'm goint to say "Do what now? Their really cool, but what am I going to do with them?"
On the other hand, if you take the idea to, say, the people who plan conventions, and say "Hey do you want to buy tons of these really cool looking plastic, or paper bags?" They May very well say yes.
There were over 76,000 people at Celebertion II.
If you don't want to market to them directly, try thier sponsors. Or how about some place like MR. They lost the Star Wars rights, but There are those that are picking them up. If you work with them, they could more easly get the rights to print such a thing. I know they may not be willing to send one out with there mail order stuff, but you know they set up at all sorts of conventions, and other places, and you know they could use something like this. I mean, think about it, lets say it is MR, for say Star Trek bags, Ok, a person walks up to there table at a con, they walk away with either a cool prop, or freebies, or whatever, in one of your bags. It's great for you, and for them, because it ketches peoples eys, so it's great marketing, and it's great for the fans, because....... wel.... there just really cool.
I would make some art up, start taking to people you can trust aren't going to steel the idea, and together take it to the possible buyers. It's a little tricky, because you can't copy right Star Wars stuff, without there rights, but on the other hand , you really don't want to put it out there without having it protected a little, but I don't know that there's much you can do about that.
There is a thing called a "Poor man's copy right." (or pattend) You print the ideas out on paper, or I guess a disk, or something would do. Then you put it in a package, and mail it to yourself. When it comes, you DO NOT OPEN IT, and you set it a side. Then if someone steels your idea, you have a package with your idea in it, that has a clear, legal, Dated, Post mark, that pre-dates the thieves usage of said idea. It's a little week, but at least it's something. (and it's a really cheep way to kind of protect your idea, but if you think you may need to do it more then once, go ahead and send more then one of these packages to yourself.) Just a thought.
