Inspiration needed for my next project, PLEASE HELP

OK guys, like a lot of Americans my hours at work have been severely reduced as the company I work for tries to wheather the economic down turn. Not alot of work in the theme park biz. I'm looking to fill the gap for myself. I have alot of time on my hands and need to stay productive. I would like to start a project that alot of us would be interested in, in hopes to sell a few to hold me over until production picks back up at work.
Any ideas will be grealy appreciated. It can be anything, costumes, helmets, props, figures, etc..
There's got to be something out there that you have always wanted to see produced, but were never able to find. Please help me find direction!

I don't think any one has done a new cyberman costume yet. There is also that new gun from Avatar. I think there is going to be an awful lot of people looking forward to the new star trek phaser and then there should be new props for the new star gate show.

A bust of Jim Carrey as The Mask (just watched it with my kids)...

--Relatively easy to sculpt
--Easy bust to paint, even for starters
--No hair required
--Easy 1:1 figure as the yellow Zoot Suit wouldn't be too complicated

Great pics and a good idea! And so many great expressions to choose from. You know it could even be possible to cast it out of silicone, with maybe a thin roto-cast plastic underskull to hold the shape, then you could actually wear it. Maybe have eyes and teeth that attach to the underskull for when it's on display. Thanks!

As far as cyberman i bet a few of us would be interested if someone could sculpt a back plate to complete the voice changer helmet that has come out but only has a 1/3 complete back

I would love to see the "Kothoga / Mbwun" statue from "The Relic". The one that the curator is repairing through the film. I think that stone statue would be so cool to have.

Every time I see one of those spears from star gate at a convention, there is always like ten people following the person that has it, just loosing their minds about how awesome it is and how they would pay what ever for one. Even if the thing is made out of paper mache. If you could keep your costs down, maybe do it in parts and in a roto caster, there would be enough demand for it to be worth your while.

Just as an input; I've worn one of the commerically available Mask outfits, and the mask isn't the best thing in the world. The zoot suit was wool which sufficed which makes for quite a simple costume.

The mask was silicone rubber, but had no definition around the temples or eyes. I think if you could sculpt and cast a much better fitting silicone mask, you'd be onto something.
