Inferno Pistol replica - another Warhammer 40k prop!

Here's my newly finished Inferno pistol, from the Warhammer 40k universe. This gun doesn't so much shoot anything, but it super heats the air in front of it melting it's way through anything at close range including tanks, heretics, bulk heads, etc. It was a blast to build and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I would have liked to have weathered it, but the person who commissioned it wanted it nice and clean ;)

It's cast resin with a pvc barrel. There's actually 6 separate castings that go into it - gun body, grip, 2 fuel canisters, and 2 small skulls for detail - and the barrel is 5 pieces. It measures 14" long, 9" tall, 4.5" wide and weighs about 4 lbs...and it is a lot of fun to mind-melt things around you with :D

And here's a picture of the unfinished gun from the top just to give a clear view of the dimensions

Hope you like it :)

That is really good workmanship and attention to detail.
