Indy bag and strap

Hi all
This is a project I've been trying to get to for a while. Had some financial issues and had to sell my Indy stuff but have a new job more money and I'm back to collecting.
As a gift to myself I bought a vintage British gas mask bag. Also a leather strap and a buckle. I cut the old strap off the bag. Didn't mangle it so I could maybe use it on something else. I attached the buckle to the strap using Chicago screws. Discovered the leather was either too thick or buckle too small. Took a razor blade and thinned out the strap at the buckle then attached the Chicago screws. Took about an hour to get it together. I'm pretty pleased how it came out. IMG_20190901_163009.jpg

I've got at least 4 of these, 2 still have the original strap. Was just thinking today that I need another as I use one for my man purse, all the time, and they will start to wear a bit. Where did you find this one, if you don't mind?

eBay. If I can find the seller ill let you know. It's funny if I wear it it's a purse...if Indy wears it no one blinks an eye! Lol
