Indiana Jones Webley MK IV Service Model

This is something I had pointed out before. This is more of a .38, where Indy used a caliber closer to a .45. The size of the pistols are considerably different, where the larger version had been more easily picked up by the camera.

This version is not only a great Jack Harkness pistol, but it also works for Sky Captain.

I was referring more to the model he used in LC and CS. It was a WG not a MK 4 or 6. I keep seeing people passing that info about the gun even after it has been refuted. All you have to do is look at freeze frames of the DVD. And prop store of London owns the LC gun. They have PICS.

He definitely used a WG in Last Crusade but he may have used another. Do you have you a link or pictures to "refute" the already proven facts?

I've had a couple people ask how I know the "WG" is the correct pistol
when everything they've read says that it's a MKVI in The Last Crusade.

Well, here's the evidence. You can judge for yourself.

Also Mods, if you want to use any of these images for the site, feel free to
grab them (please don't just link to them. I only have so much free
bandwidth. :) ).

Here's a comparison of a WG and a Hybrid MKVI barrel and MKV grip frame...

And finally a comparison of the WG and it's VERY little brother, the MKIV.

The WG used in the film has the distinctive birds head grips, a larger
(longer) cylinder and longer frame, most noticeable by the inch of space
in front of the trigger.

The WG birds head grips also are different from those on the Webley
MKIII and other model Webley's by being more curved.

And here's screen cap evidence...
