Indiana Jones ToD clapper board build

We were asked to make a custom clapperboard from Temple of Doom which I thought was an interesting build to post.

We make the "standard" size (11" x 9") clapperboard simply by printing and gluing the wording to the wood however this board from Club Obi Wan is 14" x 15", (bit big for our printers).
So I decided to give it a go the old fashioned way.

I used about a 10mm plywood for the board and hammered out some tin for the hinge in the top corner.

The artists who used to make these clapperboards are just amazing how clean and perfect they could paint the wording.
With the help of acrylic paint pens was the only way I think I can resemble their work.

Luckily I get to age the clapperboard which hides my imperfections
Here is the finished product with the chalk numbering and gaffer tape on the bottom for the date.
Also I use just a nut and bolt for the metal hinge but if anyone can let me know what is used on the originals I'd be grateful?

very nice piece. I would want the lettering to be sized up a bit and the backboard to be a bit translucent (?) but all in all a very nice replica

Here is a similar style of the of the Ghostbuster clapperboard we did not long ago...
I wanted to ask, what did you use for your white board?
