INDIANA JONES "Raiders" mannequin display

love it!! I never thought about sticking the gear my husband and I have collected onto a manny for display, its just hanging in the closet . It looks good even with out a harrison ford bust for a head

thanks a lot. Yeah, I felt I wanted a costume display as apposed to a Harrison Ford wax dummy. Although I've seen some VERY cool ones. Especially that Temple of Doom one.

did you also do it with your body sizes in mind - should you ever wish to do fancy dress - thats what im doing with my build

Looks Great. He needs to eat a few cheeseburgers but this is one of the better Indys I've seen. I also am going to skip the bust. I want to show off the costume and the bust turns it into a life size action figure. Having said that I have been tempted as I have seen some incredible busts.

Could you tell me what Hat that is?

Ya know looking at it again It is probably the best I've seen. You really nailed the details. Your jacket is perfectly distressed, and everything looks just fantastic. I'd say just tighten that belt and lift those pants a little and it would be perfect.

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hahahahaha. Yeah, he could use a few Cheeseburgers. The hat is from Todd's Costumes. It's the Uptowner. so is the jacket. I put them in separate plastic bags with CONSERVATIVE amount of Fuller's Earth & beat the living hell our of the two against a brick wall. I was really pleased with the results. One feature you don't see is...or hear is that when you lift the pocket flap, the "Raider's March" plays.

As for the mannequin, I can't remember, I just typed - SILVER MANNEQUIN- and bought it from some shop in New Jersey. An you know what, pants will be pulled up..after a few cheeseburgers. Thanks for your advice & glad you like it.

You sure it's not the Downtowner??? That's the only one on his site besides the licensed ones.

there used to be 2 options between the uptowner and downtowner. Dunno why that option was removed. It was a $100 more if remember correctly.

That looks so cool. It could very well pass for a display from the Lucasfilm archives. If I ever get rich, I'd love to do something like that!

I do want to add a chain to the Staff of Ra head piece and some sand back to the base of the display. Problem was I have 2 Hedgehogs and they thought the sand was their...waste pad. Everyone's a critic. Now off to work on Snake Plissken display.

That IS the one! Man, I absolutely love it! I'm a huuuuge Temple of Doom fan and that one won me over. I figured I couldn't top it and went with a RAIDERS. Incredible work on that one, dude. Fedora's off to that.:thumbsup

Thank you :D I'm quite proud of it! I've since upgraded him a bit with a new AB fedora and some painted hands so I could loose the gloves. Love your fedora BTW, what brand is that?
