Indiana Jones movie poster set

For about 12 years I had my own comic/video shop and around the mid-90's Diamond Comics offered a set of posters which included Raiders, Temple of Doom, and Last Crusade. These are not video release posters, they were for theatrical release. They came rolled, and in clear plastic, I've never opened them and they remain in excellent condition. Since it's been 15+ years I cannot recall if these were supposed to be reprints of the originals, or originals. If I remember correctly I paid quite a bit for them and was curious to what they are worth. Can anyone point me in the right direction to where I should go to research these? I've googled, but just come up mostly with posters for sale, or a guide to how much they are worth IF they are original. I can find nothing that can help me determine if the are original or reprints.

Thanks!

This set may have also been sold on tv by QVC, who also sold 10th anniversary gold mylar Raiders posters. That would have been back in 1991 though, not mid-90's. I recall seeing these posters as you've described but I don't recall anything about them. You might want to try Ricks.

Well the ole memory may be off, as I was in business in 1991. The years may just be running together. Thanks for that info, and I'll try Rick's!

I could be off on my timeline but I think around the time of Raiders posters were not sent to theaters rolled. They were still folded. They didn't start sending rolled posters until the mid-80s. So your posters may not be legit theater posters.

Folds and Foldlines in Movie Posters

I was curious about that too. I've thought if any one had a decent chance to be a legit theater poster it might be Last Crusade since it was from 1989. Thanks for the link, I'll take a look at it.

I'm torn between taking them out of the plastic and getting a good look vs. leaving them in their original untouched state.
