I just got back from Kauai and though I didn't get to swing into the river like I wanted to, I did sneak onto private land and hike up to a poin to get these pics.

All right its official - you're my new hero!

AWESOME...! THAT my friend is what it is all about!

One small technical observation - I wonder if they had zoomed in a bit with the lens on the actual film takes, as the "Paramount" mountain looks smaller in your shots than on screen.

WE NEED SCREEN CAPS!!

Glad your trip with the family went over well and you were able to get some fantastic photos Brad to accompany you're awesome gear, what really sells the look is your especially gruffy beard dude.

Oh another one too - Indy didn't wear no wedding ring! ;)

Thanks Everyone.

Rob. I was a bit scared sneaking onto this property. I had to hop a gate and hike up about a 200 ft tall mini mountain along with my own Sapito (my brother in law). It was all worth it.

Here are the best screen caps I could get. It seams that Spielberg is zoomed in for the logo fade and pulls back when Indy enters the frame. Still I think they shot this scene a bit further West a higher up than I was. I think I know know where they were.

And here is the view of Highway 56 from where I climbed to. I park on the shoulder of that road below.

Wow! That's a bunch of awesome shots mate. I'd have those professionally matted and hung next to your costume:)

Brad, any possibility of resurrecting the images? And maybe adding Google GPS coordinates / link ?

I may be there in a few months.
