Yes, I also think it may very well be a replica.
I assumed the prop was from LC once at the exhibition was displayed with Connery's costume.

The photo is made by myself. I own this book. It is real. It appears in "Crystal Skull" but not in "Last Crusade".

It is the 2nd edition from 1957 by Harvard University Press. There are other editions from other publishers (Methuen for example) but this is the edition which is used in the film.

The brown rims on the top and bottom are parts of my protecton cover and not part of the book.

Back on the trenches...

Since it just really takes 2 secs on the screen, it was very hard to imagine anyone could make a prop about this:



A good image enhancer program and we get this blurry screencap.



Now it's time to put hands on work:



To get this result, just use your scissors on this template. Click on 'em to get the higest resolution I can share.



You'll need some glue and some sand paper. About the matches it's up to you: if you want JUST a prop, do it yourself using a bit of harmless sand. If you want the perfect way, you can find on the market survival matches that match perfectly with the used in the film.

Just a quickie for the matches themselves i used cotton buds painted the cotton part dark red and then cut it off and pushed them into real match sticks look pretty good.

Thanks for the info! Looks like the book was first printed in 1939, so it makes sense that it wouldn't appear in The Last Crusade. IIRC TLC was based in 1938.

CUNARD WHITE STAR LIMITED - Passage Ticket

I made for me a new Cunard White Star Ticket for the voyage home of Henry Sr. and Indy.
The existing and for sale ticket does not really look like an authentic ticket from that era and has some mistakes.
E.g. Bruce Ismay wasn't the chief anymore, because Cunard bought 68% of the White Star Line in 1934, so this is the first mistake in that Ticket. Typically Cunard Tickets were mostly in red letter.

What do you think about my version of a Cunard White Star Ltd. Ticket?

Zeppelin Fahrschein for Hr. H. Widerstand

I made my own Zeppelin-Tickets for Hr. H. Widerstand and for Hr. J. Schotte.
It took a long time of researching for details, but now I think I made an almost authentic looking paper prop.
It contains 6 pages. On page 3 you could remove the small Ticket part from the Full Ticket at the perforated point (not perforated yet)

I show you here the Ticket for Hr. H. Widerstand only. The Ticket for Hr. J. Schotte is similar, but with different personal data.
In the meantime I made some changes on the front page, but's just cosmetic

This is my first attempt to make this in an accurate size. In the short scenes in the movie it looks much larger, so maybe I have to add more text

What do you think about it?
