i think Brian Babich may have something to say about the PDF as from what I remember he sells it on his site...and proceeds go to Walter Millers Family, I maybe mistaken or a little outdated...... Still Great work tho :)

well its gone from there now so I'd take it down its not good form to post otherpeoples work for downloading without asking them first, especially as he sells the file

Yes, this is a kit. It provides you with the content and instructions to make your own for your collection.

I just finished it. Thanks for the fantastic story!

I alternated between WWII era Parker Blue-Black and Micro-Film Black (which is still about 30 years too new to be what Abner would have used, but it's the oldest I had, haha), in a few different fountain pens including this Parker Vacumatic from 1946, as well as pencil to fill it out. It was a really fun way to occupy my time and I recommend it to anybody else who wants one of these.

Now I need to figure out some more inserts to put into it.

Is it ever officially established that this is Abner's Journal and not Indy's or did the fans just decide?

Excellent work btw. I am debating wether I should make mine Abner's or Indy's which is why I am asking.

Thanks

According to the Indy wiki it's in, "the Lost Journal of Indiana Jones," which was a book released in 2008 to coincide with Crystal Skull.

I always just assumed it was Indy's notes until I joined the forum and it was called the Ravenwood diary/journal, haha.

The "lost Journal" is a fan made book, not an official LFL publication.
The book credits include members from here and COW.

Just did a quick skim of the novel adapted from the screen play. (LFL 1981)
Page 50 is about Indy taking Ravenwoods journal off the shelf and going through it.

Page 118 Indy scribbles notes in a small notebook after using the staff in the map room.
So it's NOT Ravenwoods journal that is used in Egypt.

That makes more sense. Like I said, I always assumed it was Indy's until I started reading the forums. I didn't realize the Lost Journal was fan made.

So how did it come to be that we started assuming it was Abner's?

It didn't help that over on COW there was some guy that was passing himself as someone "in the know" that spewed a bunch of nonsense that everyone over there believed.
Boy where they surprised when the cat was out of the bag that he was bogus.

Didn't fool me for a minute.

Nonsense about what exactly?
