IM MK VI Build Question....

Ok I'll be embarking this wk end on my first foam build of said suit, so far I have ordered:

1 x xacto angle foam mat cutter
1 x hot glue gun
1 x heat gun
2 x 8mm foam camping mats

I have the Robo / Stealth templates and am good to go!

My question is... What am I missing if anything and whats best PVA, Plastidip or both? And is Plastidip spray better than brush on?

you can use pva first and plastidip on top of it

spray is better because you dont get brushmarks, which means a cleaner surface

you can get a hot wire cutter, if you want to spend the money
also you might need some thinner foam for detailing

i havent built anything in foam yet, but from looking at different builds, i see they use normal craft foam sheets which are 2 mm or something in that vacinity. im researching myself to start a foam build, but theres hardly any 8mm foam here, or foam at all for that matter
