I'm gonna put these binders on you...

I have access to a machine shop and someone asked if we could make some binders as seen in ANH. I searched around a bit and came up surprisingly empty. Has nobody made these before?

I'm gonna pull out my books and see if they're in there, but otherwise does anyone have any information/dims/reference for the binders?

i have to admit, i have not seen them done.

granted, i havent been here as long as some, but i cant recall if they were ever made by anyone. if they were, it was most likely a one shot deal for a costume.

cant wait to see how they turn out if you make a set. i always wondered when someone would make a set since everyone wants a chewie costume

These are Han's binders from ESB I take it. The ANH binders looked to be little more than brass or copper rings with hinges?

are the ones in ANH on chewie different?

i can picture the scene in my head, but i cannot remember any of the details of those cuffs other than they wouldnt lock.

ANH binders were very different from ESB or ROTJ binders. Simple brass bands with cutout latch. See below.

Yes these are the ones I'm talking about. I was hoping they popped up somewhere or there was a good closeup image of them. Maybe I can screen cap it from HD this month...
