IM Extremis

Just a thought, a lot of folks mentioned that the movie armors were based on the Extremis Armor, has anyone tried to modify the current Iron Man armors into the Extremis model or has anyone done an IM Extremis? That's one version I'd love to see.

In fact, no, it won't have been easier, since thinking "foam" means getting rid of a plenty of useless meshes that are normaly kept for paper-peping.

Anyway, now I'm already done too, would you mind sharing my foam release on your thread once it'll be complete ? I think it's not necessary to spread information among several threads.

This mask on ebay, while a bit floppy, is the closest to an Extremis helmet I've seen yet.

Someone should stiffen it up.

Some leg pieces like this...with cut-outs up on the outside would look pretty close too.

I've thought about doing this one, but don't have the time atm. Good luck to whomever succeeds. It's my favorite armor of Tony's.

EOS, I checked out your link for the pep files. WOW! But the cuts look incredible complex, especially for foam. I'd love to see pics of anyone in this armor!

Well done! That's the only Extremis-style helmet I've ever seen someone do. The Extremis helmet is a lot more spherical than the typical IM movie helmet and it shows in your version.
