OK, so I've seen a number of threads like this and the most recent one finally made me decide that I NEED to know what this movie is, or even if it's real.

I saw it when I was a really little kid, in the theaters I believe, probably sometime around the early to mid 90s. It was sort of like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles except instead of turtles they were dogs I think. They each had their own distinct weapon, one of them was extremely reserved, etc. I really can't remember anything else about the movie and it's gotten to the point where I'm not even sure it wasn't made up in my head at some point. If it is real I REALLY want to see it again, if not just to know I'm not crazy.

You're not crazy. It was Teenage Mutant Ninja Dogs. No. Wait. It was Frost/Nixon. No. Sorry. That one was light on cartoon dogs. Okay, clearly I'M the one who's nuts. Sorry I can't help you Risu. Free bump though.

It was something like "warriors of the..." or "mystic warriors of..." "mythic warriors of..." and then the name of their kingdom or realm or power...
I remember that one as well, I think early to mid 90ies...

Thanks! That's definitely the one. And yea, kangaroos indeed.

That's also the lamest trailer announcer voice I've ever heard.

Yea, I noticed that as well. That track seems to get recycled a lot. Didn't Emmerich also reuse it in ID4?

oh god!!! i have forgotten about this movie.....All i remember that they were jumping around like crazy in someplace that looked like Dagobah's swamp.

That's the movie that killed the dude who played Ares on Xena. He was a stunt double and the stunt went bad, killing him.

he did die in china while engaged to work on that film, but he wasn't killed making the film

from wikipedia

On 6 February 2002 Smith completed his work on the set in Shijiazhuang, 270 km south-west of Beijing. After celebrating with staff from Beijing Film Studio, and while waiting for a ride back to the hotel, he decided to walk around the Central China Television film studio grounds, and climbed a prop tower on the set of another film.[5] He lost his footing and fell several storeys, suffering severe head injuries. Smith was rushed by staff to a local hospital, then transferred to Beijing. He lapsed into a coma and was kept on life support for ten days until life support was discontinued. He died on 15 February without regaining consciousness.[6]

Didn't they use the same kind of makeup for the kangaroos in that movie as they did in Tank Girl?

I just watched Tank Girl today :lol
