Ikea Detolf Shelf Sale

Wow! I thought 75 bucks was a steal.
I love my Detolf's. After seeing them display automotive parts and lathe tools, I stopped worrying about how much weight the little glass shelves can support.

I'll be there when they open! I wonder how much they are going to enforce the one per person rule...
 
Damn damn damn, I was all set to go but why only white, not to sound crazy, but it wont match the other ones I have, i'll have to pass, that sucks, I was all excited!
 
I don't know what Color the other ones you own are, but I really doubt it would be that much trouble to paint them to match.

It's only the Top and Bottom Panels that need painting...

i've got 3 in their almost black and then a bunch of the brown ones. i painted the top and bottom panels before i assembled them and it's held up fine for a couple of years now.
 
So we get to IKEA this morning and apparently were the only store in the world that can not honor the deal.

Man I was ****ing pissed!!

I gave in and had my cousin pick one up for me, looks like I'll be painting the white, just couldent pass up 20 bucks!
